About Nick Dolding

Winning 2018 Sony World Photography Award for Portraiture out of 170,000 entrants and the National Award for Best overall picture in the UK has been fantastic for Nick especially in opening new avenues and spurring him on to more personal projects.

Nick’s been an advertising photographer shooting in London for over 30 years and has a studio in Shoreditch which he reckons is one of the best places to be in town.Through his commissions in advertising he’s been lucky enough to travel quite extensively and has worked on campaigns for many of the best known brands in the World, including HSBC, BT, Paypal, Vodafone, IBM, McDonalds to name but a few.

He’s always shooting personal tests and has enjoyed teaming up with some fantastic art directors on great projects. He's had images selected for awards including AOP, PDN, Graphis and several others. These have been for personal work as well as commissions and Nick say’s he is happiest when lost in the world of ‘seeing’ pictures.
